I forgot to mention that Jo did like her cushion gift, I got one hug when giving the cushions to Jo and then another when I told her I had made them. Two hugs for a gift - most impressive.
Meanwhile Joh has created a super cushion - it's size is very impressive ;-) looks uber comfy - I am sure that lying on it would feel like lying on the totoro's tummy...

Mine was just excessively large. Yours were beautiful and lovingly made - world of difference!
I am sure that your cushion will be like the Toroto's tummy and definitely huggable! I am sure it will be a worthwhile phd investment!
